Bodhi Kids™ Yoga

Cultivating the Ancient Art of Childhood!

Yoga & Kids

Yoga is natural for children, since it addresses the whole child:  Stronger Bodies, Focused Minds and Peaceful Spirits.

Children are capable of much more than we think they are.  If given the right environment, they will excel beyond our expectations.  However, children are not “mini” adults, and should not necessarily practice yoga in the same way.

The Bodhi Yoga Kids™  programs are developed to introduce kids and parents to the potentials of yoga fun, with a mindfully open heart and happy body.  Each class is lead by two instructors, and offers lots of yoga fun while learning postures, breathing and life skills that are age appropriate.

Bodhi Yoga Kids™ Instruction

Each instructor has received  Bodhi Yoga™ training and understands the developmental capacities of each age group of children they share their love of yoga with.  Each Bodhi Yoga Kids™ class is lead by an instructor, with either additional parent, or assisting teacher present during our class.  All classes are lead in an up-beat, encouraging way that honors the natural expressiveness of children, in an emotionally, physically and spiritually safe environment.

Bodhi Parents Welcome

Parents are welcome to stay for class at no extra charge, (one on one time with Grand-mommies as well).

Your child will experience a non-judgmental, supportive environment as they learn things like:

  • "YOGA means to share"
  • "earth's creature teachers"
  • "Fishing for Yoga Poses"
  • " I have light in me that I can see"
  • "my smile can love the world awake."
  • "I can be a Yoga hero, by caring about what I see"
