BodhiYin Yoga Restorative Vitality

This BodhiYin Yoga Restorative focuses on the importance of releasing tight soft tissue, like your muscles and fascia.

Why?

We are in uncharted territory, so the desire to “just get back to normal” is a mantra for suffering.

We hold our breath, we hold our plans, we hold tightness in the body, instead of hope in our present and ability to focus on what is going WELL!

Vitality is the body’s ability to go with the flow, or to bounce back, even when it doesn’t feel like everything is moving at the pace you would like.

I have always loved the line in a poem by David Whyte:

“What you can plan is too small for you to live”.

I know this to be true, body and soul.

This practice is to help you feel better in the moment and to help you develop the ability to take that vitality as a hidden gift with you into each moment.

In that play, you become a space HOLDER for light and vitality, rather than a troubled guest waiting to get your own way.

There is a gift in the wisdom that comes in times and circumstances of no escape.

This week’s practice will help you find the vitality hidden in your own potential–just a fancy way of saying “HOPE”.

Yoga practice is the practice of being true to what is best within you.

I hope you will enjoy this practice,

Namaste!
