Why does the Winter Solstice carry such potent energy?
“Solstice” means “Sun stands still”: A day when the daylight is the shortest, like annual midnight for releasing the energy of the past year and making space for something brand new!
Anyone can benefit from a release of the energy of the past year to prepare for an incredible 2026.
The better you are at releasing the energy of this past year, the more those skills you’ve already developed will come to the surface and help you prosper during the new year.
If you are too busy to join live, that’s okay. The recordings are available to you any time over the next 11 months to watch as many times as you like.

If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore; and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God which had been shown!

What happens when you walk a labyrinth?
Walking a labyrinth is a walking meditation that quiets the mind, reduces stress, and encourages self-reflection. A labyrinth is a path that is a metaphor for life. It is a sacred space set aside to set all the stories you’ve been telling yourself down and open up.
Unlike a maze, a labyrinth has one path, so you can’t get lost, providing a focused, calming experience for spiritual connection, creativity, clear-seeing direction, and inner peace.
The labyrinth path itself acts as a symbolic journey with three stages:
Releasing, Connecting, and Clarity.
- Quiets the Mind: The repetitive, focused act of walking helps quiet internal noise, making it easier to meditate or pray.
- Stress Relief: It’s a powerful tool for relaxation and finding balance, integrating body, mind, and spirit.
- Emotional Release: The path can help process emotions, allowing you to release burdens (purgation) and open up to new understanding (illumination).
- Spiritual/Personal Journey: It serves as a metaphor for life’s path, allowing for deep personal reflection, problem-solving, or connecting with one’s center.

The winter solstice is the year’s longest night and the celebration of the return of light. It’s one of the most potent times to walk a labyrinth. These evenings are a treasured Bodhi Yoga tradition that we look forward to every year in this beautiful space.
“Each of us sees the unseen in proportion to the clarity of our heart, and that depends upon how much we have polished it. Whoever has polished it more sees more,
and more unseen forms become manifest.”
